Vocational Evaluation

Vocational Evaluation Services are beneficial for gathering information about work interests, skills, behaviors and tolerances while performing a job. Detailed assessment of vocational assets and challenges are provided with recommendations for achieving an individual’s employment goals. Employers provide valuable feedback regarding work habits, work skills and physical capabilities.

We offer different types of Vocational Evaluations. You can choose a plan that is best for meeting your vocational goals.

Independent Community Evaluations:
Opportunity Partners has over 30 contracted employers who will allow you work as if you were an employee. During that time, Opportunity Partners staff will be working with you to assess your skills and whether the job is a good fit. You will be paid hourly for your time. These evaluations can be from two days to three weeks or more, depending on your needs.

Supported Employment Evaluations:
In this option, you work as part of a team with a full-time coach. We have more than 20 employers to choose from for your Supported Employment Evaluation.

Work Adjustment Training Evaluations:
This plan is used when you know your work strengths and challenges, and you need a place to practice working to solidify your skills. They can take place either on supported employment locations or independent community locations.

Testing and assessments:
Opportunity Partners has more than 40 types of testing and assessments to help identify skill and interests, strengths and weaknesses. An Evaluator will work with you to choose what is most helpful for you in meeting your vocational goals.
