Volunteer
Opportunity Partners was founded by volunteers more than 50 years ago and that volunteer spirit continues to be an integral part of Opportunity Partners’ ability to deliver excellent services and programs to people with developmental disabilities, brain injury and other special needs.
Volunteers do make a difference and are extremely valuable to Opportunity Partners. Last year, volunteers gave more than 10,000 hours of time with a monetary value of more than $175,000!
Volunteers tutored individuals in reading and computer usage, participated in community classes and special events, handled a wide range of office duties, and spruced up our buildings and grounds. These generous gifts of time and talent mean we can enrich our programs and services during times of during times of increased expectations and decreased government funding.
Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals and civic/corporate groups. Both long- and short-term assignments are available, based on your interest. In addition, volunteer opportunities are available to fit your schedule.
