Opportunity Partners offers a wide range of Employment Services to people with disabilities, including Job Placement, Job Coaching, Evaluation and Job Retention.
Job Placement
Our experience in Employment Services and relationships with hundreds of employers allow us to offer the people we support unrivaled access to the job market. We assist in obtaining employment opportunities in virtually every interest and skill level and work to develop jobs that fit people’s needs. Options range from working independently, being a part of a Supported Employment Team (SET), or working at one of our center-based production facilities. Our job placement services are customized to each person’s individual needs.
Job Coaching
To help ensure long-term employment success, Opportunity Partners’ support continues well after a job has been attained. We provide a wide range of support services, tailored to meet each employee’s individual needs.
Evaluation Services
Vocational Evaluation Services are beneficial for gathering information about work interests, skills, behaviors and tolerances while performing a job. Detailed assessment of vocational assets and challenges will be provided with recommendations for achieving an individual’s employment goals. Employers provide valuable feedback regarding work habits, work skills and physical capabilities.
Supported Self-Employment
Opportunity Partners is building an entrepreneurial spirit with an innovative program, Supported Self-Employment. This program gives individuals with disabilities another employment option that provides one on one assistance with starting their own business.
Ticket to Work
The Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program is an employment program for people with disabilities who are interested in going to work. This program is part of legislation designed to remove many of the barriers that previously influenced people’s decisions about going to work because of the concerns over losing health care coverage.
Under the program, the Social Security Administration provides disability beneficiaries with a ticket they may use with organizations called Employment Networks (ENs) to obtain career services to help them find and retain jobs in the community.
