With more than 30 locations in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area, Opportunity Partners supports people with disabilities in their effort to improve their self-sufficiency at work, at home and in the community.

 

Employment Services
Opportunity Partners helps people with disabilities prepare for work in the community and succeed in the workplace, either independently or as members of a work team. Clients may also choose to work in a variety of jobs at one of our four production facilities.

 

Employment services include pre-employment assessments, vocational training, career exploration, placement and ongoing support in the workplace. More than 250 businesses contract with Opportunity Partners for staffing and outsource manufacturing projects. Opportunity Partners provides job placement or job coaching services to more than 600 people with disabilities each year.

 

Assistance is provided to approximately 190 individuals who receive services and supports in their own homes and apartments. Opportunity Partners also manages 20 well-maintained community homes with 24-hour staff support. Our residential services provide more than just a place to live. They offer community integration, social opportunities and support in daily living skills.

 

 

At Opportunity Partners, people with disabilities learn life skills and find a wide range of opportunities for job training and community involvement. Whether the learning takes place in a traditional classroom or in the community, clients acquire skills for competitive employment. They also learn valuable practical skills, including how to balance a checkbook, grocery shop and participate fully in the community.
